Our Neighbourhood
We live in our house. There are many other houses near our house. They are our neighbours.All these houses make our neighbourhood. They help each other.Children living in a neighbourhood play together.

POST OFFICE
A post office helps us to send messages from one place to another.We get stamps, postcards,envelopes etc from the postoffice.After writing the letter we will post it in the letter box.The postman brings our letters, parcels etc.
POLICE STATION
The policemen guard our neighbourhood. They protect us from thieves and robbers.They maintain law and order.
The traffic police control the traffic.
HOSPITAL
When we are sick we go to the hospital.The doctor examines us and prescribe medicines.
Nurses take care of the patients.Big hospitals have ambulance to carry patients.
RAILWAY STATION
We board a train to travel from one place to another.We have to take the ticket before boarding.
There are goods train too.
MARKET
We buy things for our daily use from the market.There are many shops in the market.We buy fruits, vegetables, fish, provisions etc from the market.

Bank is the place where we deposit our money.It keeps our money and jewelry safe. We can withdraw our money when ever we need it.
